Welcome to the British Society for Oral and Dental Research
The British Society for Oral and Dental Research, formerly the British Society for Dental Research, is dedicated to enhancing and promoting high quality research for the improvement of oral health in the United Kingdom. Membership of the Society is open to all individuals with an interest in any aspect of oral and dental research. The BSODR also constitutes the British Division of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), the global body responsible for promoting oral health research world-wide.
Our goals are:
- To advance research and increase knowledge for the improvement of oral health in the United Kingdom
- To support and represent the oral health research community in the UK
- To encourage junior workers to become involved in oral and dental research
- To facilitate the dissemination and application of research findings relating to oral health and the interactions between oral and systemic health
- To foster the development of international research collaboration through the International Association for Dental Research and its Federations.
